Other Services
At JCN Design we pride ourselves on the range of services that we can offer, and although many of services listed below are often hidden as part of a wider scheme or included as part of a bigger document, we will offer a comprehensive package at a competitive price regardless of the size of the project or the timescales for the delivery.  Our aim is to provide a service that exceeds the standards of quality, efficiency and commerciality set by our clients and to generate value for them, therefore we will draw on any of the elements listed below in order to achieve our targets.

We offer a comprehensive 2D CAD drawing service, including sketch schemes, building design, detailed layouts for planning applications, conversion of designs or mark-ups into CAD drawings and the creation of “as built”, “as installed” and record drawings.  We can also provide 3D visualisation, including massing diagrams, sketch schemes and artist’s impressions, photo real images and detailed renderings for sales literature.  Some of our clients also use us as an extension to their drawing office for use in times of planned peaks in their workload or unexpected demand.

As mentioned above, JCN Design is a licensed Code for Sustainable Homes assessor and we also offer a consultancy service on all aspects of the Code.

Our planning services include the preparation of masterplans, identification of potential development sites, site assessments and evaluations, LDF representations, planning briefs, pre-application discussions, the preparation, submission and negotiation of applications for planning permission, confirmation of compliance with conditions and the production of Design & Access Statements.

JCN Design also provide a wide range of other services that we normally provide in support of larger projects, but each of the following can be provide in its own right: site and architectural photography; website design; public realm strategies and design; green travel plans; public consultation events, including meetings and exhibitions; technical support for detailed surveys, including ecology, noise and vibration, air quality and landscape visual impact assessments; economic assessments and retail health checks; and housing market assessments.

We also collaborate with a number of trusted consultants where a scheme may require more detailed knowledge of a particular subject, meaning that we can also include the services of arboriculturalists, community consultation and media relations, drainage engineers, ecologists, historic buildings specialists, highways engineers, land agents, landscape designers, party wall surveyors, planning lawyers, structural engineers, utility service specialists and working drawings architects where necessary.
